Who we are
Our website address is https://justawesometravel.com. Just Awesome Travel is run by the Just Awesome Travel team, and you can reach us at webmaster [at] justawesometravel.com.
What we collect when you visit
Like almost every website, our host’s servers keep a log of requests: the IP address, browser, page requested, referring page and time of each visit. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure, not to work out who individual readers are.
Comments and forms
Comments are closed on this site and there are no sign-up or contact forms, so nothing is collected that way. If you email us, we receive your address, any name you use and your message.
Cookies
We don’t set cookies. There’s no visitor login, analytics or advertising on justawesometravel.com, so nothing here needs them.
Embedded content from other websites
Our articles don’t embed videos, social media posts or other third-party widgets, and our fonts and images load from our own domain. Links to other websites take you off this site, and those websites’ own privacy policies apply there.
Who we share your data with
No one, for marketing or advertising. Our web host and our email provider process information for us so the site and the inbox work. We’d disclose information to anyone else only if the law required it.
How long we retain your data
Our host keeps server logs for a limited period. We delete emails once we’ve answered and any follow-up is finished.
What rights you have over your data
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or erase it, by emailing webmaster [at] justawesometravel.com. If a state privacy law such as the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to you, you can ask to know, correct or delete your personal information, and asking won’t change how you’re treated. We don’t sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Readers in the UK or the European Economic Area have similar rights under data protection law and can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (UK) or their local data protection authority.
Where your data is sent
Our providers may store information on servers in other countries, including the United States. Where the law requires it, those transfers are covered by suitable safeguards.
Children
This site is written for adults and isn’t directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, let us know and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll post the new version here with a new date.
